When you are happy to move forward and book us to cater for your special day, we will require confirmation of the services you would like to book for along with your first payment as indicated on your quotation. Once this has been received we will then confirm your booking and secure the date. We will arrange to meet and discuss the final details of your day, including the order of the day and prepare a function sheet as well as discussing your chosen menu. These details can then be updated/amended with us in the months leading up to your wedding.
Yes, approximately 12 weeks before your wedding day we will arrange a food tasting of your chosen menu. If you would prefer to have a food tasting before confirming your booking, there is a small charge of £120.00 (incl VAT) for the two of you. This fee will be deducted from your total booking should you book us following the tasting.
As part of our proposal to you, we will agree on a guaranteed minimum number of guests.
If your final numbers drop after booking, that’s fine but you will still be required to pay for the guaranteed minimum amount set on your booking quotation. This is the number all arrangements for your event will be based on. However, we understand that you will not know exact numbers until you receive all of your RSVPs back so we recommend that you estimate your guaranteed minimum to be about 10% fewer than your invited numbers when booking.
If you need to, you are can increase numbers up to 4 weeks before the day. Your final guest numbers, not forgetting to include yourselves, are due 4 weeks prior to your wedding date along with your final payment.
Via BACS payment, our business account details are provided on your proposal. We are also able to accept debit/credit card payments. Funds need to be cleared by the due date, therefore we would require payment 5 working days prior to the due date. We are unable to accept cheques.
Yes. We require full access to a commercial kitchen onsite at the venue. If we do not have access to a kitchen or specific equipment we will be required to hire in additional equipment which will be chargeable to you. Please make sure that you provide us with an inventory list of the kitchen equipment available to us at the venue before booking in order to avoid any additional charges – your contact at the venue should be able to provide you with this.
Don’t forget your photographer, videographer, DJ/Band or other suppliers that are working on the day and may require a meal. Please bear in mind that this is not included in your final numbers and will be chargeable. We will need numbers for this confirmed 4 weeks before the wedding day.
You are able to choose a vegetarian starter and main course option for those who require such. We require you to pre-select these at the time of confirming your main menu and notify us of the number of guests and full names 4 weeks before the wedding day. If you have a guest that suffers from an allergy or intolerance we are able to cater for them without any additional cost. We will create a dish as close to your chosen main menu as possible, simply by tweaking it to suit their requirements. As we do not operate in a nut-free environment we cannot guarantee that any of our dishes or menus are totally nut-free or nut derivatives free. For any guests with severe allergies, please ask them to contact us directly so that we can assist and discuss the appropriate menu options.
No, this is something your florist or those in your wedding party are likely to do for you. We are able to put out place names, favours and any individual menus you may have. You will need to organise and arrange anything further such as sweet tables, memory tables, centrepieces or any other displays. If supplying children’s activity packs, please supply only pencils and not felt tips or wax crayons to avoid damage costs on the table linen.
Your chosen venue should provide adequate waste and recycling bins for all your waste from the day/evening. If this is not available we are able to arrange a waste collection service at an additional charge. Please speak to your event manager in order to obtain a quotation for the service. Prices are dependent on the location, collection time and access points at the venue.
